Growing firms 'embracing email marketing'
Date: Wednesday 4th November 2009

Email marketing is a preferred promotional channel among high growth companies, it has been reported.
According to the Campaigner State of Small Business Online Marketing Survey, web-based advertising is helping many such firms position themselves for a speedy market recovery in 2010.
Those expecting to see an increase in revenue are spending more on promoting themselves, especially using
email marketing and other online tools, the study found.
"
Email marketing is one of the best ways for small businesses to attract and retain customers while also growing revenue," said Steve Adams, vice-president of marketing for Protus, a partner of Campaigner.
He said the survey also showed the great importance of
email marketing and other web-based tools in driving business growth.
"As we head into 2010, now is the ideal time for small businesses to look at their marketing programs and make sure they have a combination of web-based and traditional marketing tools," he added.
Dale Delay, founder of Cost Management Solutions, recently explained how
email marketing messages can be used to relay relevant market news to company stakeholders.
