Email opt-ins can boost sales

Giving customers the chance to opt in to email marketing can boost sales, it as been claimed.

According to marketing expert David Hale, the more chances people are given to subscribe to email marketing messages or HTML email newsletters, the more likely a company is generate sales from their campaigns.

Writing for examiner.com, Mr Hale said that people who sign up to email newsletters are excellent customers to have because they have already shown interest in your products.

He said: "Too many people believe that building a good opt-in list takes a lot of time and effort to build. This is not the case.

"Take the effort to push your business to the next level, and your opt-in list will do wonders for your business success."

Mr Hale said that businesses can boost the number of people on their mailing lists by putting a form on their homepage.
