Email marketing 'can help provide business insight'

An energy consulting firm is using
email marketing to help industry professionals improve their supplying buying decisions in a difficult market, it has been claimed.
Cost Management Solutions says that by providing its stakeholders with regular informative emails throughout the day - offering updates on fluctuating energy prices, market commentary and analysis - it helps them make educated business decisions.
Dale Delay, founder of the firm, said delivering current information to customers is "essential to marketers".
He explained that the firm used a third-party
email marketing provider to ensure the safe and timely delivery of materials.
"[It] provides us the technology to not only build our email, but gives us the tools to ensure it gets into the inbox of our readers," Mr Delay added.
Last month, research conducted by Round2 Communications indicated that
email marketing expenditure will rise at 40 per cent of firms in the near future.
