Several major domain name sales completed this week

There have been a number of high-profile domain name sales this week, the biggest being Call.com which sold for £672,000.
Call.com was sold by Live Current Media to an undisclosed buyer and was not the first time the company handed over the domain name.
Live Current Media previously sold Call.com alongside Exercise.com, Automobile.com and Makeup.com for, and received annual royalties of £153,000 before taking control of the web address again in 2006.
Two years later, the company was offered £3.7 million for the web address, but only managed to raise £765,000 when it went to auction.
Live Current Media took control of the domain name once more when the buyer only paid £214,000 for the address.
Brazil.com and Cricket.com were the other big generic domain names changing hands this week.
Meanwhile, Brendan O'Shea, a business development director in Abu Dhabi, was offered more than £600,000 for Vip.ae.
