Google helps web hosts to provide marketing services to customers

Members of the web hosting community are set to benefit from an expanded version of Google Services for Websites, according to the Official Google Enterprise Blog.

A new version of the access provider program will feature Google Site Search, as well as Custom Search and AdSense.

Google Site Search enables website owners to customise their search options and utilise flexible branding, according to the search engine.

"We are excited to have Google Site Search as part of the program because it provides us with better partner opportunities with the web hosting community," the blog stated on Wednesday (March 25th).

Ads can also be used on a site's search results pages via Google Custom Search.

The blog suggests that web hosting service providers will be able to use the services to boost the value of customer websites by enhancing visitor satisfaction, increasing website visibility and using Google AdSense to monetise sites.
