Windows dedicated server 'can prevent website downtime'
Date: Wednesday 20th May 2009

A Windows
dedicated server is the best choice for large internet-based businesses that operate using the Microsoft software, it has been stated.
Companies can continue to expand whilst using a Windows
dedicated server and customers can benefit from increased speeds when it comes to accessing a server and a website, forum for site designers Ozel Web Tasarim reported.
The
dedicated server from Windows offers more bandwidth to firms, enabling more traffic and increased space to add related websites to a server.
"You do not have to worry about one more website captivating the bandwidth and stealing your customers away," the publication claimed.
Shared servers are often used by companies first starting out and can be a good option for firms looking to share the overall cost of server maintenance.
When a business experiences growth, however, a shared server may have difficulties in accommodating the increase in website traffic, which could lead to downtime, Ozel Web Tasarim stated.
Overall spending on
web hosting has been predicted by Gartner to reach the $29 billion (£19 billion) mark by 2012.
