Date: Friday 29th May 2009

The WordPress platform is constantly updated but there are a number of plugins which can save users time, a report has said.
Plugins are built by different authors to add to or modify software and some prove so popular that they end up becoming a permanent fixture in the main software suite, Softpedia noted.
One such plugin which can save time and make blogging easier for people is the Post Ideas plugin, which allows users with an idea to write a draft post when they are unable to post it properly.
Another popular WordPress plugin is the Mass Post Manager.
The publication stated: "As the name implies, [it] helps you manage your posts in bulk if you want to make more significant changes to your categories or manage comments for several posts at a time."
Individuals who use a lot of html in their posts can use the Tidy Up plugin to check for html code errors and suggests ways to fix them.
Businesses which use html links on their WordPress blog posts to enable potential customers to click through may find this plugin of use.
According to a recent report by Frost & Sullivan, WordPress is a solution that is becoming increasingly prevalent with small and medium-sized businesses, along with other Web 2.0 technologies.
