WordPress 'boosts online campaigns'

One of the easiest and most cost-effective methods to give an online email marketing campaign a boost is to use blogging, it has been suggested.

Writing on the Examiner, Rob Fleming said adding a blog - which could be hosted by WordPress - to a website can support a brand or service in getting maximum exposure.

Blogging could provide additional content for html email newsletters and may also improve rankings on major search engines, through the effective utilisation of search engine optimisation.

Such online marketing methods will "boost visibility, help build authority and page rank, while offering your potential customers a regular stream of fresh relevant content", he noted.

WordPress is simple and easy to use and has thousands of plugins, themes, bloggers and provides online support, Mr Fleming stated.

There are a number of WordPress plugins that can save users time, Softpedia previously reported.

Individuals who use a lot of html in their posts can check for code errors with the Tidy Up plugin.
