Valuable blog info 'should be backed up'

Firms who operate blogs on their websites through services such as Wordpress hosting should be taking extra steps to ensure their information is backed up, it is advised.

A simple and non-technical process can help online writers do this, says Brent Ramey, co-owner of Bloggled.

He explains: "As we spend more time online, for business and for our personal life, there's a lot of valuable information about us online that's not backed up."

Activities such as updating blogs through Wordpress hosting represent who we are, so they should be protected to ensure information is not lost, Mr Ramey adds.
