New Joomla Resources Directory 'soon to be launched'

A new website from content management system platform Joomla is soon to be unveiled, it has been announced.

The blog on Joomla noted that the community was asked to comment on a concept for a new site which would connect users of the CMS platform who were offering services to those individuals who required them.

On the basis of the feedback, the Joomla Resources Directory website will soon be revealed. However, Joomla will be taking submissions to help test the new website before it is officially launched.

"We are looking for people who do Joomla as a business: consultants, trainers, search engine optimisation specialists, extension developers and template clubs," the blog said.

Individuals who host websites that provide tutorials, news and information which interests the Joomla community are also required.

Many businesses and individuals use Joomla's three-tiered system of articles to simplify the process of organising content. Public websites which use the CMS can benefit from a built-in email protection which safeguards email addresses from spambots.
