Joomla 'has solid plugins and themes to attract large user numbers'

Content management system (CMS) Joomla has what one website describes as some of the most diverse and attractive themes available for any CMS platform.

Joomla has won many awards since its creation and Packt Publishing continues to recognise the success of this platform, CMS Critic noted.

The community and number of active users of Joomla is large, which can be partly attributed to its "solid plugins and themes", the publication said.

Without Joomla, with its significant CMS presence on Google, there would not be as much activity in the industry as there currently is.

CMS Critic said: "Joomla has one of the most diverse communities with a huge following and tonnes of user groups in various countries donating their time and efforts to improving the platform."

One of the Joomla communities lies in France.

Joomladay France will be held on May 24th and is an opportunity for individuals to connect with members of the French Joomla community and the CMS platform's developers.
