Transfer domains to Global Gold

Transferring a .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, .us domain into Global Gold

To transfer in a .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, .us domain to Global Gold you need to change the
domain admin contact address to admin@globalgold.co.uk. This will make the ensuing
processes easier and more efficient.

You will also need to ask your current hosts to:

a) Unlock your domain AND
b) Send you an Authorisation Code for the domain.

Once they have unlocked the domain and you have received an Authorisation Code
you need to forward those details via email to admin@globalgold.co.uk along with
details of your domain name. We can then start the process of transferring in your domain.

When a .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, .us domain is transferred we have to
extend the domains registration period by one year, so there is
a transfer fee of £20 per domain, which is raised at the start of the transfer.

Transfers typically take 7-10 days to complete because we have to wait for your current hosts
to unlock the domains and issue authorisation codes, over which we have no control. We will
of course notify you of any problems identified during the process.

Transferring a .uk domain to Global Gold

To transfer a .uk domain to Global Gold you need to
ask your current provider to change the IPStag to GLOBALGOLD.

If you need to change the nameservers to Global Gold's then ask them to be
changed to:

ns1.globalgold.co.uk and
ns2.globalgold.co.uk

This process normally takes 24 - 48 hours to complete.

When you initiate a transfer to Global Gold please email admin@globalgold.co.uk to notify us,
so we can make the necessary arrangements in your Global Gold account.

There is no fee associated with transferring a .uk domain

There is a £20 transfer fee associated with transferring a .eu domain which includes 1 additional years renewal for the domain.
