Setting up a domain in your VPS

1. You can easily log into your VPS from your Global Gold Account by going to your services – and clicking the I icon next to your VPS.


2. Once in you can click on your plesks url and this will take you into your plesk log in page.


3. You will then need to enter your VPS username and Password.


4. Once logged in you can manage your server from here. To add a new domain – go to domains – add new domain.


5. Select the client to create the domain for and click ok.


6. Enter in the domain name – leave the IP address as shared – tick proceed to hosting set up – and click ok.


7. select physical hosting as the hosting type and click ok


8. In the hosting set up page you need to create an FTP username and password and tick the following services. PHP (with safe mode OFF) CGI scripts and Awstats for the web statistics with password protection ON. Then click ok.


9. Your new domain has been added into your VPS and can now be configured. Please see the tutorials on how to add and set up email accounts and databases.
