Migrating a domain to your VPS

Migrating a domain to your VPS.

1. Log into your VPS and add a new domain through the set up wizard.

2. Log into the FTP for the domain using an FTP program and upload the webfiles to this new account on    your VPS.
-  This can be tested through the Site Preview link in the domains admin section under the Hosting settings    on your VPS.

    

4. Set up any email accounts you are moving onto the VPS and have them set up on the computers running    the email accounts.
-  The mail servers will be mail."thedomainname.com"

3. When you are happy that this is working go into your Global Gold VPS section and add the domain to the    DNS made easy section and add the web and email records to our DNS.

    

4. If the domain is not already on our name servers then you need to have them changed to.
-  ns1.globalgold.co.uk and
-  ns2.globalgold.co.uk

5. Once you have done this it will be working within 24 hours.
