Using Barracuda
When using our spam filtering service you will receive 'Spam Quarantine' emails to alert you to mail that is being held for you on our servers suspected of spam. These emails are only sent out on days where a message has been held.
In this email there will be a 'Click Here' link.
1. Click on the Click Here link to be taken through to your quarantine inbox.
2. Use the tick boxes to select emails to Deliver to your inbox, or mark as Spam, Not Spam, Whitelist or Blacklist. By marking as spam, the system learns to delete these in future. If marked as Not Spam, the system learns to let emails from that sender get through. Apply your changes.
The system will learn to block messages you classify as spam by not only working on the from address but also the content of the messages, for example picking up on keywords and common subjects.
