Making A Privacy Complaint

The Guidelines

Global Gold is a web hosting and domains business. We take the violation of people's privacy and sense of safety seriously. By completing the complaint submission form, it will help us to assist you as best we can.

Please READ through the following:

Complaint Guidelines, Step 1

If you become aware of anything posted specifically about you that you feel violates your privacy, as a first step, you need to contact the Uploader regarding your concerns directly. Sometimes they aren't even aware that someone feels uncomfortable about the material they have on their site. Most websites provide contact details on site, please use those first.

Please also give the Uploader time to respond or take action to address your request PRIOR to submitting a privacy complaint at GGN.

If you're unable to contact the Uploader or if they refuse to remove the content in question, please continue with our privacy complaint process, so that we may further review the claim.

Complaint Guidelines, Step 2

If you're completing the privacy complaint, you should be the individual concerned or the legal guardian of the individual affected. We will not accept complaints on behalf of third-parties.

Please note we will not be in a position to take any action unless YOU are clearly identifiable by the offending content on the website. We will NOT accept third-party privacy complaints for content removal.

Complaint Guidelines, Step 3

Please be aware that nowadays it is increasingly likely that you may be caught on CCTV / camera. This may be a direct consequence of security measures, photography, increased tourism, etc. If you appear only incidentally in a public space and are captured as such, it is more difficult to assess your complaint along the lines of a privacy complaint.

We would ask that you make sure that your complaint specifically relates to a clear violation of your privacy. If you have identified material that you consider offensive, please use the following email address provided, detailing the specific URL links to : abuse@globalgold.co.uk

Please be advised that making a bad faith request may have adverse legal consequences for you if you live outside of the UK. If you're not sure whether you have the right to request that, you should seek legal advice.
